We can update an existing framed piece by either reframing the piece or simply replacing the matting with a color more suited to your interior. It is amazing the difference a fresh mat and clean glass will make. Also, most framing done twenty or thirty years ago may be in danger of acidic materials that were common in custom framing back then. We would be happy to open your framed piece and check the stability of the mounting and matting to make sure it is protected to the best of today’s standards. It is also a good idea to periodically open the framing package and make sure that no creepy crawlers made their way into the package.
